Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026. This policy outlines how we handle and protect your clinical records.
1. Information We Collect & Informed Consent
We collect personal identifiers and clinical files (medical reports, prescription histories, current symptoms) solely to facilitate consultation bookings and issue prescriptions. By uploading any health logs, you grant DrWala explicit consent to share these reports with your booked medical consultant. You acknowledge that uploading health reports is fully voluntary.
2. Peer-to-Peer Video Consultations & Disclaimers
Our video consultation connections are established peer-to-peer (P2P) and encrypted. DrWala does not record, store, or monitor your live consultation audio/video streams. However, users are responsible for securing their local network connection. DrWala disclaims any liability for video/audio interception due to vulnerabilities in the user's local network, device, or third-party web browsers.
3. Data Storage & Security Disclaimers
Your files and prescription history are encrypted using AES-256 and hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. While we apply commercial best practices in cyber protection, you recognize that no server database is 100% secure from advanced persistent threats, malicious hacking, or unauthorized system breaches. In no event shall DrWala be liable for security breaches beyond our reasonable technical control.
Legal & Regulatory Compliance Disclosures
DrWala strictly adheres to the Cyber Security laws of Bangladesh. We reserve the right to disclose personal data or prescription logs to law enforcement agencies or judicial courts if served with a valid warrant or subpoena, or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to protect public health, safety, or prevent illegal actions.
5. Third-Party Payments and Financial Safety
Financial transactions are handled securely by our licensed gateway partner, SSLCommerz. DrWala does not capture or store your debit/credit card details, PINs, or wallet passwords. Any financial dispute, transactional leak, or security breach occurring during payment processing is governed by SSLCommerz's terms and conditions, and DrWala disclaims all financial liabilities therewith.
